*Virtual Excursion* - Portrait Journey around Australia (History program)
From First Nations perspectives to the contribution of migrants, from the opening of Parliament to environmental protest, Australian history is full of fascinating stories – and we have the portraits to explore them.
Activity Outline: This interactive session for upper primary students uses portraiture to provide opportunities for students to develop and deepen their understanding of Australian history. Evidence, continuity and change, cause and effect, perspectives and empathy will be used as tools to investigate portraits in our collection within their historical context.
