What role do seeds, roots, stem, leaves and flowers play in the life cycle of a plant? How do these features of a plant help them survive?

In this program your students will:

  • wonder at plants growing in different environments, what do they need to survive?

  • discover the structure of living plants in the Gardens, discuss their roots, stem, leaves, flowers and fruit.

  • enjoy a game based on the life cycle of a plant.

  • explore a variety of fruit, flowers, leaves and seeds under microscopes.
