Virtual Reality: The Great Kimberley Wilderness
VR experience and gallery activity
Immerse students in the Kimberley – a culturally and environmentally significant part of Australia – to develop a stronger understanding of people and place.
In The Great Kimberley Wilderness VR experience, students will be transported to one of Australia’s most extraordinary landscapes.
Students will then explore the Museum’s Great Southern Land gallery, discovering interconnected stories of Country, custodianship, Deep Time and the forces that shape this remarkable continent.
Hands-on gallery-based activities encourage curiosity, discussion and meaning-making, helping students to connect the VR and Great Southern Land gallery to curriculum areas like HASS and Science.
Please read the guidance on VR headsets and the health and safety notice before you book.
