OHSC: Mini minhwa fans
Celebrate Korean culture these school holidays!
Bring your OSHC group to the Museum this autumn for a hands-on creative workshop.
Children will explore the beauty of Korean art and language through minhwa folk painting and hangul (the Korean alphabet).
In this educator-led program, OSHC groups will explore the exhibition Hallyu and Beyond and learn how Korean–Australian creatives use traditional symbols, colours and motifs in their work.
They will then design and paint their own paper fan to take home – a vibrant keepsake inspired by Korean culture and creativity.
Ideal for mixed-age groups, this engaging activity blends cultural discovery, design and self-expression in a warm, supportive environment.
